Today for the first time in history the San Pedro community raised the LBGTQ flag🏳️🌈 at the LAPD Harbor Division police station & the San Pedro Welcome Park. A few weeks back a gentleman by the name of Ryan was harassed, and spit on for his choice on who to love. As I stated, in my speech the day the flag was raised and I quote, “this is not a Ryan issue, this is not a gay issue, this is a community and a human rights issue. We are responsible and accountable for one another. If one person within our human community is harmed, discriminated against, or disrespected we are all responsible and accountable.”
